Mission Outreach

Outreach is an important part of our Christian life. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ we receive a life worth living, a life that is transformed not by money, possessions or status, but by a life-changing faith in Jesus Christ.

As a Church we all have a responsibility to share the good news of Jesus with our local community and beyond. The Mission Action Group (MAG team) encourage support, both prayer and financial, for the work of mission, both overseas and in this country.

As a Church we are partnered with Ushindi (Victory) Baptist Church in Kenya. Since our partnership began in 2009, many children who attend UBC's Compassion Child Development Centre have been
sponsored by people attending WBC. See the Church Partnership

There are a number of children who are sponsored through a variety of organisations from some of the poorest countries around the world to effect change in their lives and communities, where poverty and injustice are ripe. We desire to see people and their communities made whole, both spiritually and physically.
